April 29, 2024 - Cru Crew Wine dinner hosted by Brad England (Mara restaurant at the Four Seasons hotel in Minneapolis, MN.): My least favorite of the flight, but still very good. Some mint, lactic and spice on the nose. Creamy palate. Less complex than the others.

My initial read of the 2016 Ramonet GC's was more positive soon after release than it is now, which is more in line with consensus on the vintage. Decanted for 90 minutes then back in the bottle for an hour before pouring.

April 14, 2023 - At the beginning, Pronounced aroma of pear, white flower, like drinking fresh juice.
After 3hrs in the glass, nose of little bit metal.
flavor changed to sesame, cookie, and popcorn.
Very clean and fresh! Super loooong finish!
Not that powerful. -

November 6, 2019 - Boulevard 21: 2016 Ramonet Montrachet
A showy wine reflecting the vintage. Beguiling aromas of wet stone mineral with sweet apple, buttered popcorn & delicate spice. A rich round creamy texture with serious depth while remaining quite delicate and nuanced. Very Impressive 961 person found this helpful Comment
