Community Tasting Notes 2

May 23, 2019 - Deep garnet. Low transparency. Strong tearing. Nose is dominated by oak with secondary cherry and red plum. Flavour confirms red fruit with oak and dark chocolate. Cheek tannins, medium acidity, long dry finish. The final remnants of the finish become a bit herbal, somewhat interesting. Not blowing the doors off, probably pairs well with anything with some fat in it.

April 14, 2019 - Just about ok as a quaffable red for a non special occasion.
