December 19, 2020 - Clear, medium lemon colour. Clean, med+ intense nose of green apples, peach, abricot, blossom, slate, grape, burned wood, dried lemon, raspberry and pineapple. Youthful and quite fruity.
Off dry, high acidity, low alcohol and medium bodied. Med+ intense flavours of apple, lemon, pomelo, pineapple, peach, chalk, slate and blossom. Medium finish with nice, vibrant citrus mark on the palate. Drink or hold.

May 19, 2020 - The wine was clear with very pale intensity and a lemon coloration.
On the nose it was clean with a relatively light intensity. The primary aromas found where ripe lemon, white peach and a slaty minerality with a hint of honey.
On the palate the Riesling was at an an off-dry sweetness with a medium acidity and low alcohol. Cohearnetly it had a medium(-) body with fruit forward primary aromas of ripe lemon, white peach and yellow apple and a hint of honey and good amounts of minerality.
The finish was medium(+) and the wine was very clearly identified from the Wehlener Sonnenuhr being very light and mineral driven.

May 16, 2020 - WSET Level 3 Online (Week 2, Germany): [from Coravin, screwcap]

The appearance is clear and pale lemon in colour.

The nose is clean with medium(+) intensity aromas, showing primary aromas of mineral (slate), citrus fruit (grapefruit, lime, lemon), green fruit (green apple, red apple), floral characters (blossom), and stone fruit (nectarine). This wine is youthful.

On the palate, the wine is medium-sweet, with high acidity, low alcohol, and medium(-) body. The medium(+) intensity flavours show primary notes of mineral (slate), citrus fruit (lime, lemon, orange), green fruit (green apple, red apple), floral characters (blossom), and stone fruit (nectarine). The finish has a long length.

This wine is of an outstanding quality. Can drink now, but has potential for ageing (acidity and sugar can support ageing).

February 29, 2020 - This wine is young, evidenced by its pale colour and a clear and brilliant shine. Aromas of green apple and lime give an appealing freshness to the nose. A little spritz on the palate makes for a refreshing wine, low in alcohol and body and deliciously off-dry. Balanced, already intense but too young to have developed a bouquet and layered complexity. Great aperitif wine now but it will be a real treat if you can hide it in your cellar for another 5 years. Incredible value for money.

January 24, 2020 - Well made and good value. Good with Chinese stir fry. Would keep a lot longer too.
