December 18, 2022 - At Burg night with the Cru. Very nice, still young, full of flowers. Wait for the next one.

May 29, 2022 - Lovely wine. Drinking well now; ruby color, medium bodied; lovely concentrated bouquet of red and black fruit and some earth; acidity and tannins in balance; will no doubt evolve some more but quite delicious now with about half hour air in glass.

June 28, 2018 - Domaine Lafarge Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 5, Visit 2) (Volnay): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Vines closing in on their century mark, only 22 hl/ha in the fertile '17 vintage. Intense concentration with complex red fruit and meaty spice. Long finish, very good 91-92 point potential.
