March 20, 2022 - 12.6% abv. Light ruby, very aromatic. This wine continues to age very gracefully, now showing violets and rose petal highlights. Feminine and very well balanced. Very nice.

December 30, 2021 - I'm generally a fan of the hole Arnot-Roberts thing, but this is a miss for me. I look back and see 12.6% Zin and I realize that I should have known what I was in for, but... yeah. Still a bit of a spritz right out of the bottle. In a way, this reminds me a lot of the recent trend of taking more structured grapes, like Sangiovese and Syrah, and making a juicy low abv carbonic wine. This just feels like a generic, lean, picked early, light bodied wine; light strawberry and raspberry, with a bit of stemmy bramble. Speaks to a style choice, rather than grape variety or terroir. There are slight hints that this could have come from a heftier grape, but you really need to dig for it. It really seems like they wanted to make a Trousseau, except that they forgot that they already make a Trousseau that's much better than this.

October 4, 2021 - Zin that's the weight of pinto, bramble, cherry, med + acid

August 2, 2021 - 12.6% abv. Medium light ruby, good aromatics. On the palate, red cherry, rose petals, white pepper and cranberry. Light bodied with moderate length. Very precise on the palate without a lot of intensity or depth. An atypical Zin that I would expect to have an atypical aging profile - I'm guessing this wine needs another 2-3 years for its best showing. Enjoyable now and I would think very good with food.

June 27, 2021 - Bad cork on this one. Slight effervescence, but still drinkable and discernibly in the AR style.
