June 11, 2022 - Minimal cherry on smell, woodsy cherry on taste. Lots of acidity, without the fruit to balance it out. Thin, not much there.

February 3, 2022 - Last bottle, really hasn't changed. Blackberry, anise, plum and spice on the nose and palate. Great match with homemade pizza.

March 21, 2021 - Blackberry, black licorice, spice, plum. Medium body. smooth finish. Not a lot of complexity, but very enjoyable.

September 5, 2020 - Not sure if this was mildly corked or what the flaw was. A previous bottle was loaded with fruit and a treat to drink. This one the fruit was very muted and drank almost like a claret instead of a zinfandel. Not overtly bad, just not as expected.

July 13, 2020 - Expressive nose and loaded with flavor. Blackberry, black licorice, spice, plum. Medium body. smooth finish. Drinks well above its price.
