September 18, 2022 - Initially attractive with some nice vosne spices but with more air this became very fruit driven cherry and just meh. Not sure if it’s just entering a dumb phase but I ll be keeping the other bottle for a few more years, try in 26 and beyond

July 30, 2022 - The 2016 Robert Serugue Petits Monts is fresh and packed with red cherry and ripe mix currant. Dominated by new oak toast at this stage, vanilla pod and wood toast. Very polished and attractive yet not as refined as other Petits Monts, such as Georges Noellat or Amelie Berthaut. (87/100)

February 11, 2022 - Bright Red fruit with hints of rust on the nose and mild underripe floral notes. Medium red color. Gorgeous silky mouthfeel followed by moderate tannin at the first taste masking some of the muscular dark fruit that peeks in and out. Holy shit is this good. Will follow up note after an hour in decanter.

September 30, 2021 - Beautifully pure, with notes of dark and dark red fruit, some cinnamon, sweet spices developping, also some animalic note, candied violets. It‘s medium+ bodied, with very good persistence, this is also showing nice medium-high acidity and medium tannin that is extremely silky. Pretty long finish. A very pretty VR 1er that is probably opening up even more with some more air or 2-3 years more in bottle.
