Community Tasting Notes 5

July 16, 2011 - This wine has developed some nice secondary characteristics like a silky/waxy texture, with lovely balance of minerality and fruit. Acidity still ample, but I would say drink up soon if you have any.

April 9, 2009 - (13% vol) Layers of flavour with a definite note of honeycombs on finish. Too tired to fully analize but very enjoyable and held up well to a seafood stew with pasta.
Brief notes from a second bottle (weeks later) - pineapple and smoke (similar to a desert)

September 23, 2008 - Very yellow color, honey lemon nose, in the mouth, citrusy, waxy and thick, nice acidity, in the back end, there is a roasted nut sense, but no bitterness. This is a nice wine that has some atypical flavors and depth for the price.

July 1, 2008 - This wine showed less forward fruit, with more lemon notes followed by a slightly nutty flavor that complements the lean pear on the midpalate and lanolin texture. Good with food.

December 9, 2007 - Drinking well now with banana, lemon oil, honey, minerals, and a rich oily texture. Very complex.
