  November 13, 2021 - Another very pretty showing of this. It‘s open for business, has nice freshness and that extra layer of fruit of the vintage. Excellent QPR and a great pairing to our slightly spicy Cumin Beef.

  March 16, 2019 - Another very nice showing and an excellent value in red Burgundy. The vintage adds another layer of fruit, while the typically pretty high acidity is there and adding tension. Really nice. This would be a big hit on a warm summer day, slightly chilled for BBQ.

  August 17, 2018 - I am usually not the biggest fan of Savigny-lès-Beaune as I find the wines often a little monolithic, acidic and too light. Maybe it‘s the warmer vintage and definitely excellent wine-making... This is showing really beautifully... it combines nice freshness with good ripeness. Shiny ruby color. Notes of sweet red cherries, raspberries, some mineral notes, also some flowery notes. It‘s full of tension, has medium body, nice medium+ acidity and some medium- tannin. Good length. Sappy, juicy and a lot of fun to drink. Excellent value too.
