December 4, 2022 - Nothing especially interesting but as good a table wine as you will find. Nose has all the usual suspect - cherry sauce and tart red currant, rose, balsamic, tar and so on. Palate is excellent and so food friendly - modest attack, light-ish body, taut acids that rise and fall vertically in the mouth, low tannin. Alcohol is well integrated. Flavour is a little savoury, tomato-y, balsamic-y... great with roast chicken.

Hope they keep making this stuff for $20, cause I'm gonna keep buying.

October 17, 2022 - similar to my recent note, but perhaps a tad less enthusiastic (but perhaps also not paying as much attention).

October 1, 2022 - [just a quick taste before taking camping]; the nose is so inviting with lovely candied cherries. Nice red fruit and noticeable but nicely integrated barrel notes. A touch of leather and pucker --this all comes together in a really nice glass of wine. No fireworks, but so solidly delicious. I could drink a lot of this. 90-91.

October 29, 2020 - deep ruby colour, shiny; veru good. nose: cherries with mineral notes - tobacco, earth. some smoky, oaky notes. robust. dry. taste: high acidity; medium (+) volume of rathe small grainy tannins; fruity - red cherries, underripe black cherries, plums; there is some kind of springy and fresh nature of this one. Again tobacco, earthiness; long finish with slight bitterness. Very good classico. Excellent to braised lamb shank.
