January 21, 2024 - A bit reticent on bouquet. Inky red/purple color. Tastes of earth, with a core of dark fruit, maybe a touch of licorice. Well crafted, though no ‘wow’.

December 24, 2023 - Good color, body, likely to last another 2 to 3 years but not going to improve. Drinks like it always does - nice fruit throughout but not over the top, dry, delicious!

Primary fruit, ripe dark fruit, sweet cask notes
Harmonious palate, m+T, h-A, hB, dry, finely grained tannins, very ripe sweet dark fruit and cask notes, rather one dimensional.
I’d wait five years for more complexity. Now it’s boring. -
