Community Tasting Notes 1

January 29, 2008 - Nice deep red color. Earthy nose. First sip had heavy tannins, oak and earthiness with maybe some floral hints. I let it open up a bit and it settled down nicely - flavors of blackberry developed and the tannins mellowed. Still a full bodied red with strong oak/tannins. I am thinking this could even age another 6months to a year and maybe longer.
