April 3, 2023 - Mørkegul, muligens på vei til å bikke. Konsentrasjon, kraft, sødme som neeesten matches av syren. Modning.

February 18, 2023 - Deep gold colour. Pronounced and developing nose with smoke, dried apricot, petroleum, cinnamon, ginger, honey, caramel and marzipan. Pronounced taste of dried apricot, petroleum, cinnamon, ginger, honey, caramel and marzipan. Long and sweet finish. High acidity. Full body. A very good and well matured Riesling Spätlese. Drink now or over the next ten years. Goes well as cheeses, spicy food or fruit and berries.

January 13, 2023 - Opened an hour in the bottle, served at 11 degrees Celsius with a cured ham/pesto sald and a cheese platter . Golden honey hue. Nose : Pineapple, lighter fluid / petroleum , and a very convincing clementine / orange scent. Sweet, rich and mature in the mouth. Medium acid. Cooked / pickled fruits , apricot , plum stone, cloudberry. Tending towards a dessert wine, but worked well with the savoury salad and cheese, especially the mushroom brie !:) Will buy again!

December 4, 2022 - Honey colored. Sweet on the nose with honey, peach and a little apricot, all carry over to the taste. Quite sweet, has lost some of the acidity with time, still quite well balanced. The aftertaste is dominated by sweet honey and peaches. Doesn't feel 20 years old, but I still wouldn't keep any remaining bottles for long (if I had any).

(Wegeler Oestricher Lenchen Spatlese) Nice ripe nose but this was a bit short on the palate. Pleasant nonetheless.
