Community Tasting Notes 3

January 23, 2009 - I enjoyed this far more than a tasting last year. Slightly thin and acidic but otherwise very quaffable

November 18, 2007 - I'm a little taken aback by the 90 point rating from an earlier review. This is a cheap and pleasant tempranillo - bursting with fruit but lacking in backbone or complexity. Also, a little thin for my taste. Quaffable but very average. (Post Script, the wine did improve noticeably on the second night and was a fine accompaniment to a baked salmon dish. My initial rating of 75 increases to 78)

December 29, 2006 - Made from 100% Tempranillo, this medium bodied wine is oak-aged to perfection. The nose is full of strawberry fruit and just a hint of wood. The palate is rich and mouth filling with velvety soft fruit, cigar box characters and a slight spiciness. Very nice indeed.
