December 22, 2023 - Quite dark nose with cherries, some oak, and smoke notes. Good acidity with present yet integrated tannins, more dark fruit, berries, cherries, and earthy notes. Nice finish. Overall, a very good wine that shows clear signs of oak, but it's starting to integrate. A big wine that will probably be better in 10 years. 94+

September 26, 2020 - Decanted first two hours and drank over 4

Robust and exotic nose of spice, cinnamon, red fruit, wet tea leaves and leather, mint, and minerals. Palate is highly structured and sensational with waves of black fruit and other flavor rolling over a firm backbone of attractive acid. Finish is long, minerally, and lush.

Delicious and somewhat hefty today but may relax into something even more phenomenal than it is already. Awesome
