Community Tasting Notes 2

November 24, 2019 - Still very much alive. Great dark fruit and still that leather/animal edge which I love. Not much depth, dies pretty quick on the palate

February 23, 2019 - 22 year old Aglianico from California, sure why not...

Color showed hints of age, but I would have guessed closer to 10-12 years. On the nose this is so earthy. Dirty (in a good way) with tar and a slight animal nose. Also dark black fruit still, many wines fruit lightens with age, not the case here, still dark and mysterious.

Tannins are fully integrated and acid is a touch high, but brings some life to it. Fruit is dried out, but still there. This is drink wonderfully, but probably won't live much longer.
