November 10, 2020 - This is very Burgundian in character. I would say a lot more similar to a Beaune rouge than a Beaujolais is. Very earthy, sappy and red fruited with some smokiness probably from barrel aging. Very enjoyable. It certainly overdelivers.

February 13, 2019 - Gamay is an interesting red grape for the Finger Lakes. This wine is elegant and earthy, not unlike a lighter Pinot Noir, but with a more mineral and tannic core, riper fruit that expected from the nose.
