February 7, 2016 - Les grands Châteauneuf-du-Pape vieillissent longtemps et sans problème! Peuchère! Vu leur carrure et leur puissance alcoolique, ça n'est pas étonnant! Celui-ci, âgé de 27 ans, arbore fièrement sa belle robe dense et fort bien conservée. Son puissant bouquet, flatteur évoque l'écorce d'orange et en bouche, il fait jouer sa puissance, sa richesse et sa vigueur dans une grande amplitude. Un grand vin majestueux qui n'est pas prêt de s'éteindre!

July 27, 2006 - Ordered off the wine list at Daniel in NYC - great wine! Parker's 97 note and previous note do not give justice to the current stage of this Chateauneuf! Great nose - spicy and earthy - long finish with notes of fresh fruit. Evolved beautifully over two hours in the decanter and was absolutely decadent with the duo of ribeye and braised short ribs. Phillipe Marchal came by and tasted it a few times and loved it as well - his last bottle.
