December 8, 2020 - Medium garnet in color, a decent amount of sediment at the bottom of the decanter. Rich nose of black cherry, blueberry, plum, volcanic black olive, mushroom, sweat vanilla, and a bit of cedar. Very structured and firm right out of the bottle. Mellowed out a bit after an hour of decanting but still very grippy. Red fruit leaning on the palette with red cherries, strawberries, and blueberries leading the way. Cedar, white pepper, and vanilla lead to a dry mineral finish.

February 8, 2020 - Had while watching the Super Bowl with a Pepe's pizza. Really beautiful, multi-faceted Zinfandel. Can age for a long time still.
