  January 3, 2024 - AW92. 1-2 hour decant, a lot of freshness to this, still some tannic bite - really enjoyed this alongside some good beef. A case still sleeping as years ahead with this and looking forward to sampling it in 2-5 years time.

  January 29, 2023 - Requires 2+ hours of decanting. Highly tannic and rich night 1. 2nd night was really good and 3rd night much more balanced, tannins softened, fruit was rich and delicious. Could use more aging but drink now and decant.

  December 4, 2022 - Profound nose of dark luxardo cherries, dry tangy herbs, red plums and just a hint of dried fruit and cedar smoke. Big time legs on glass. Palate is also rich, oak is equal to the luscious fruit at this stage, so there is room for improvement and more complexity. But this is worthy of drinking at this stage, without a doubt. Finish is long and bone dry, with new leather and limestone. A beautiful wine from a great vintage and winemaker.

  March 26, 2022 - This has a nice bouquet of fruit with a hint of basil and oak and a wiff of alcohol. The first tastes are of black cherries and blueberries with a jammy mid palate and nice finish with a deep oak and moderately grippy tannins. The wine is nicely balanced but there really isn't a tremendous level of complexity or anything else that would make it stand out.
  
  Paired nicely with grilled porterhouse steaks, grilled veal chops, mushroom risotto and broccoli.

  January 16, 2022 - Pleasure to come back to this Super Tuscan with its incredible 7 grape blend of 31% CF, 20% Merlot, 17% CS, 11% PV, 10% Sangiovese, 9% Syrah and 2% Alicante. Medium+ ruby red. Complex and deep aroma of violets, roses, cherries, blackberries, tobacco, leather, balsamic, plum hints. Full body, feels fresher, leaner and not as elaborate as ‘06, that will develop with years, but it feels as elegant, layered and harmonious with medium+ density, fine structured tannins and long fruity and floral finish.
