Community Tasting Notes 2

July 12, 2012 - Upper shoulder fill. Cork soft and fully saturated. Not decanted. Clear deep blood-mahogany red. Evolved notes of tobacco, tart red fruit, camphor, saddle leather. Medium body with mouth-coating tannins and dry finish. Has that generic old red wine quality -- could have been an old tempranillo. Improved with air and overall was better than expected.

February 21, 2004 - Wine tasting. Some good mushroom aromas and flavors, but i thought mostly faded. Bordeaux-philes found this more interesting.
