April 10, 2024 - Same perceptions (and recommendations) as El Dougo!

April 10, 2024 - L’Aventure’s entry level Paso Robles blend of Syrah, Cab and Petit Verdot. Totally approachable in prime drinking window. Spectacular acidity from the extreme diurnal of Paso totally balancing the high alcohol. Med + finish makes for a very good wine. Drink now and hold the more robust estate wines.

March 15, 2024 - At 10% of the blend, Petit Verdot grants an inky depth to what is otherwise a very balanced wine with a long finish. Syrah adds notes of pepper and spice. The Cabernet marries them together. Beautifully drinking today. Wine is maturing nicely...color still pretty bright. No hurry to drink this today if you have it in your cellar, but it is a nice treat!

January 14, 2024 - Gearing up to be one of the finest Optimus: Lots of ripe round flavors and loads of velvety tannins in the fore-pallet and thru to the finish with lots of spice and french oak too.

September 29, 2023 - Rich and dense without being over the top. Dark fruits with prominent oak coming through. I could see these wines finding more personality over the coming years but certainly pleasant enough to drink now.
