December 11, 1991 - With K at home at dinner (sauteed chicken with basil and mint). Still a very good, deep ruby color. No sign of decline, or even age. Elegant, fragrant bouquet. Palate is somewhat austere and very lean, but I can't argue with the nose. A surprise, if only because of the nose. 5-12-9-7: 83/100.

February 12, 1990 - At home at dinner (cold pizza). Medium ruby. Pleasant, cocoa-scented fruit in the nose; smells chunky. On the palate, surprising medium-full body, good balance. Has decent fruit, though somewhat austere. Enjoyable to drink now, though clearly has enough tannin for the long haul--as long as the haul isn't too long. 5-10-15-6: 86/100.

March 16, 1988 - Very pleasant drinkable bordeaux. Though a bit light in flavor, complemented the meal very well.
