Community Tasting Notes 2

April 14, 2023 - (Decanted for half an hour)
Deep red colour with a brick red hue and a maturing nose showing red berries, truffles, leather and some charcuteries in a very pleasant way. Pleasant with smoothing tannins on the palate still showing primary fruit and some herbs on the finish. Still drinking very well and matched a tenderloin steak perfectly.
    (Best 2003-2023)

July 20, 2019 - (Decanted for two hours)
Brick red colour with a mature nose showing cedar wood, eucalyptus and tobacco in lovely and positive way. Fully evolved tannins on the palate, but still some red berry sweetness balancing the drying fruit in a nice way. This has passed its peak, but is still drinking very nicely.
    (Probably best 2003-2018)
