July 8, 2019 - (Disgorged in April 2018, 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru villages Chouilly and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, dosage 2 gr/l)
Lovely youthful nose filled with chalk, minerals and creamy notes also showing lemongrass, raspberries and butter in a very delicious way. Fresh and crisp on the palate, but with a softer acidity showing yellow apples and a touch of pineapple on the mid to late and opens up with some yellow plums peel bitterness on the nice and lengthy finish. This is a well made cuvée that feels very accessible already, but this should evolve nicely over the coming years for sure.

March 28, 2019 - champagne trip- Day 4 (Vazart-Coquart, Pertois-Lebrun, Diebolt-Vallois, Pierre Gimmonet) (Chouilly, Cramant, Cuis, Champagne, France): Nose: The nose is pure spring-time with green apples, peaches, pears, crushed rocks, mints, acacia flowers, mint, and brioche. There is good depth with a vibrancy to the tones and excellent balance.

Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with crisp, high acidity. The feel is poised and lovely with green apples, pears, peaches, acacia flowers, crushed rocks, and brioche.

Overall: This is a lovely and feminine Blanc de Blancs. This feels like it is in a great spot right now but it can definitely age for at least another 5-8 years.
