  March 6, 2024 - Another beautiful example of Hawkes AV cab.
  Nose: soft aromas of dark fruit and spice.
  Palette: Tart cherry, dark fruit - blackberry, plum, - fine tannins, high acidity, . A beautiful wine!

  August 27, 2023 - I think this one has aged to just the right moment. Aromatic oak, plum and dark fruits with big but smooth tannins.

  August 6, 2021 - An exceptionally well made CS. Just doesn’t tickle my tastebuds. I’ve had this twice (18 months apart) and no real difference between them.
  
  Too tart, too cherry. Aroma is nice, but a bit tart. Just like my CS a bit more dark, powerful and darker fruit.
  
  Even after 30 minutes of decant and 2 hours of opening, it just didn’t tickle my buds.

  November 7, 2020 - 2015 drinking well now, bright fruit on the nose, strawberries and cherries with a light vanilla and oak bouquet. Subtle tannins, and great mouth feel
