July 6, 2023 - Return to Willamette; 7/2/2023-7/8/2023 (Portland & Willamette): First of two years of making this wine with 2010 and 2011 base. An interesting style of wine. I think we tried this some years ago with Maggie and remember her saying that she was not looking to do a multi-year blend but just found that created the best most beautiful wine and so she went with it. This is darker fruits and lots of baking spices and a nice brightness to it. Interesting to try side by side with the Mouton. Both nice wines.

November 27, 2021 - Thanksgiving Weekend in Willamette; 11/25/2021-11/27/2021 (Willamette Valley OR): Tasted at Antica Terra. Black plum, currant with liqueur and silky textures with subtle tannins in the very near background. Very harmonious with good weight and better length. Even better than the 2013/2014 blend I tasted in 2018. Impressive.

Labeled 2010&2011 California Cabernet produced in Oregon
Inky black purple still
Gushing with dark fruit, no noticeable oak without any over ripeness or jamminess.
This is really quite lovely.
