March 19, 2024 - Just noticed my own note, not to touch this for a few years, but had already broken the seal. Pale ruby in the glass. Shy nose of strawberries, raspberries, mushrooms, cinnamon. Palate has a tartness to begin with and some green vine elements but holds together well into a long satisfying finish and plenty of tannins to chew over.

March 3, 2023 - 2017 Vintage: Nose Light-Med strawberries, plum, leather some spice, great balance and complexity. Palate: forward fruit, tobacco, minerals, more acidity and tannins in the middle and long finish. Quite fresh at the start but then a little syrupy boiled fruits trail off the finish. I hope this wine will smooth out with more time.

December 8, 2022 - Delicate cherry, raspberry with cedar, some spicy notes.
Medium plus acidity with a decent finish. Lacks some intensity.
