November 11, 2018 - From vineyards in Bickensohl in the southwestern Kaiserstuhl. Unoaked, 12.5% ABV, less than 3 grammes of residual sugar. Slightly reticent nose of apple and pear, with a floral note and a hint of spice; light but charming palate, nicely balanced, green apple and grapefruit, salty minerality; finishes with a hint of almond. Marries decent flavour intensity with a certain finesse - which is not easy to do in a basic Pinot Gris. Good value for € 10.
