April 26, 2024 - Holding strong, a little more development but even creamier. Very good.

April 20, 2024 - Love this. Needs about an hour to open up.
Concentrated and complex nose with citrus, tropical fruits, honey, white flowers and candy. The notes from the barrels are distinct but unobtrusive and well integrated.
Perfectly balanced in the mouth, with great concentration. The dosage is perfect, not at all to dry.
    Lingers long.
Feels mature without any obvious signs of maturity and is, for my taste buds, perfect right now. You can probably hold this a few more years without any downside but not sure it will improve.

May 28, 2023 - Very good wine, but Hebrart might just not be doing it for me as much anymore. And/or the 2012's are starting to hit a bit of a dumb phase. Balanced but could use some more intensity and complexity.

April 16, 2023 - Open that bottle - Dan chooses 1994 Harlan (My house): This took a bit to open up. The profile reminded me of a blanc de blanc and I'm surprised it's half pinot noir. Floral, slightly toasty, saline, apple, pineapple. Really nice and I can sense some upside in a year or two.

April 13, 2023 - Open THAT Bottle - Special Edition (Joe's Bistro): First one of these Champagnes. I was surprised to learn it was extra Brut, as it didn't strike me as super dry. I really enjoyed this Champagne and it was a great start to a fabulous evening!

Nose showed straw and minerals with some sea breeze and saline, along with hints of tropical fruit. Palate was laser focused and refreshing with lots of slate, some brioche/bread yeast and tart green apple. Nice wine and very enjoyable! Easy 93+ for my palate!
