November 26, 2007 - My first Dolcetto!
NOSE: Light spices and Wrigley's Spearmint Gum on the nose. Interesting.
TASTE: Light body. Dark, tart berries on the mid-palate. Finishes off with a mild mint freshness. Soft moderate tannins and fairly short finish.
An easy drinker. I could see this wine being drank with many different meals or by itself. Not bad at all for $12. I enjoyed trying a Dolcetto. After this, it won't be my last. -

November 18, 2007 - Little mint on the nose, some dark fruit, spice. Medium weight, smooth tannins, dry, sour cherry, tobacco. Would probably go well with pasta with vodka sauce.

Plums, tart cherries, black currant, this is fruit folks..... Pretty good for the price. I would by it again. A nice everyday wine. -

September 10, 2007 - Rather simple. "Bursting with plum, blueberry and licorice"? I think not. Notes of tart cherry and some figs. There is a hint of that banana/plum note I get from Beaujolais. Tannins are still from, and the finish is rather short. 84-86 points.
