March 26, 2023 - Definitely let this get to cellar temp to experience wine's best feature - that'd be texture of course. The oily, soft, feathered kind. Elegant cool climate alpine Chard with aromas of lemon, peach, vanilla, and almond, and concentrated rich flavors of peach and orange that slip right into that texture we keep talking about.

February 12, 2023 - Decent Sunday Chardonnay. Not particularly nuanced but a very pleasant drop of wine with Fish Amok Curry.

November 9, 2022 - Another wine that I opened immediately after buying and put a second bottle to sleep for a couple of years. The wine has softened and integrated.

When opened 2 years ago the nose was reticent but now the aromas jump from the glass - white flowers, crème brûlée, ginger and fresh lemon.

Palate if full and round with juicy mid-palate acidity and a touch of back end warmth.

Flavours are pithier and tarter than expected. Even a bit of ginger spice on the finish.

Excellent length. Probably better in 3 years.

September 15, 2022 - Has not much improved since last time; quite a bit of oak (vanilla, butterscotch), (over)ripe pear, pineapple, a bit minerality, a bitter note. Medium+ acidity, long finish. Well made, but too oaky for me

April 14, 2022 - Green apple and lemon curd with a light buttery balanced oaked finish.
