January 8, 2020 - Decanted for about 45 mins; the nose starts out well with herbal inflected blackberry and red berried fruits (the CF element coming through?), a little austere, a nod to the old world; on the palate this has good body and pleasing enough texture but the flavours never really get going - it comes across just a little too innocuous for its own good. Forgettable, alas.
