Community Tasting Notes 11

  • Jason Wu Likes this wine: 92 points

March 28, 2024 - Spicy, peppery, a little steely and flinty, elegant with good structure. A little lean, but very balanced and intriguing.

  • Vini Ciclismo Likes this wine: 92 points

March 17, 2024 - Deep red, dark core, light rim.
Beautiful pure red and black berries, violet florals, graphite spice, blueberry notes.
Dark ripe cassis, blood plum, damson, wood smoke, lightly spiced graphite and tar. Youthful flavours but a middle aged structure, tannins are smooth and furry, unobtrusive acidity, finishes velvety and reasonably long. Drinking well now, could age a few more years but quite possibly near its peak.

  • Slaz Likes this wine: 94 points

December 9, 2023 - Drinks beautifully with an hour or two of decanting. Highly aromatic and elegant nose. Full of life, nice minerality and Northern Rhone Syrah earthiness. Terrific, overall.

March 25, 2023 - Raspberry, leather, pine, herbs, and a floral note. Soft tannins and juicy balanced acidity. A nice, elegant style of cote rotie.

  • Patrick_from_champagne Likes this wine: 91 points

January 3, 2023 - Open a few hours before and decanted an hour before drinking

Red purple color showing no trace of evolution
The nose is on blueberry, forest berry, violette, leather, pepper
The palate offer an excellent balance with freshness, structure, lenght
It's already approachable if decanted but 3-5 more years will offer more complexity
    A good bottle
