  February 6, 2024 - Very well balanced wine with well-integrated tannins and notes of elderberry and young blueberry. Marries very well with beef. Not an overpowering Cabernet Sauvignon but then again this is 2024 and this is a 2016 vintage: I held it in my cellar for years for this very reason, to allow the wine to be classy rather than powerful.

  November 9, 2022 - Intriguing bouquet with coffee, smoke, chocolate, dark berries, oak and tobacco. On the palate red and dark berries, sweet spices, herbs, good acidity and length, slightly sticky tannin. Elegant wine.

  May 25, 2022 - Dark ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, cherry, cranberry, earthy, oak, plum, and vanilla. Full-bodied, with full, robust tannins and medium-plus acidity. Oaky finish. Solid Napa Cab. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), Malbec (7%), Merlot (4%), Petite Sirah (3%), and Petit Verdot (1%).

  October 8, 2020 - Chilled to 48'. Decanted, bright and transparent on the pour. Dark fruit flavors--forward and persistent. Hints of wood, chocolate, and very slight sweet. Medium body with balanced tannins but on the dry side. Fruit flavor came thru over the hour. Great value--definitely a buy.
