November 11, 2012 - No rating. This bottle was shot. No real bouquet left save maybe some light mushroom. No fruit left on the palate; like acidic pale ruby water. Have another bottle purchased at auction recently. Hoping that this was just a bad single bottle but this may be pushing Cali Barbera way too far, even if it is Ridge.

April 25, 1992 - At Singer & Foy Ridge wines survey. Nice color-lots of purple highlights in the dark ruby color. Nose is an interesting melange of mint and dill and fruit. Palate is initially dusty, dry, brushy, but yields some pretty fruit on the mid palate. 4-10-12-4: 80/100.
