March 28, 2024 - By the glass at the BA lounge , LHR. Just opened bottle.
Probably at its best now that the freshness manages to give a bright feel to the wine albeit the nice evolved fruit and light secondary feel blends well with it. Nice entry level wine and drinks nicely now and we feel at peak. 89

March 11, 2024 - Pop and pour, which did the wine no favours, though it was still easily parsed. Understated nose, with cherry fruit and a touch of fragrant wood. Palate is absolutely classic, slightly uptight, somewhat austere claret. There is, however, an elegant coolness in the mouth that keeps the wine from being unpleasant. Not bad. Probably one to drink within the next 5 years(?)

    May 13, 2021 - So...now 5 years old.
On nose and palate: familiar Cassis, tobacco , tomato plant and minerality on a lean tensile body ....the moderately high acidity will appeal to Chianti lovers!
A decent cru Bourgeois , not especially complex , and not an ager....but I like it....at under $25.00 in Vancouver.
    Works well with Pasta Puttanesca.
