  January 25, 2019 - Twelve years after my earlier tasting note I'm tasting this wine again and loving it. Medium bodied, good fruit, very soft tannins, leather, earthy, very pleasant to drink. A little more age on it. A great buy at TJ's!!!

  December 14, 2011 - Great wine. Tasted blind and I thought this was a CA Italian varietal from 2005-2007. Great acidity, fruit, and secondary flavors of leather and tobacco. Acidity is still there with gripping tannins.

  April 3, 2008 - Weak, no body and finish. Can't imagine that this will get better with age. Drank half the bottle and moved on something better. Still waiting to decide what to do with the rest, probably headed down the drain.

  June 13, 2007 - This is one of my favorite wines to buy at Trader Joe's. Whenever I'm there, I buy three or four bottles to have on hand as "daily drinking wine". It's not going to blow your mind, but it's cheap and reliable. It reminds me of the table wines served in Europe in the small "juice" glasses we use in the US. I think it only adds to the charm. Salud!

  November 24, 2006 - I've had this wine a few times. It is a good reliable red table wine. It isn't going to blow anyone away, but it is a satisfying wine for dinner and well worth the price.
