March 1, 2024 - La Paulée de Los Angeles - The Verticals (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Vertical. Magnum. Rich and nicely concentrated orchard fruit throughout. So much here, this has great length. Best of the vertical. Upside from here.

April 13, 2018 - A lost Friday afternoon gathering – Mostly Burgundy (Blacksalt, Washington DC): Gorgeous energetic nose displaying fresh white fruit, pear, granny smith, candied lemon peel, beeswax, a hint of Coche like matchstick, saline, cool mountain stream and limestone. Very precise and detailed palate, finely layered pure white fruit, perfect amount of acidity, strong mineral and a long pure white fruit driven finish with a hint of matchstick and beeswax at the end. The producer that is new to me. Excellent showing.
