February 28, 2024 - Antoine Jobard/Hudelot-Noëllat Dinner at La Paulée de Los Angeles (Kato, Los Angeles): Ruby. As a group, the RSV’s did not match the color saturation of the 3 Malconsorts. Open green aromas. Lovely elegant weight, alluring mix of soil and dark fruit, excellent acidity, cocoa, and a long fine tannic finish. This gained in fragrance while continuing to exhibit a strong earthy core. As much of a heart throb as it is now, this really deserves another 10+ years in bottle to show its best. Wonderful Grand Cru primarily about finesse.

September 28, 2023 - Some of the finest Pinot ever tasted. So fine and still rich and vibrant. So good.

    Really special tasting this wine.

February 4, 2023 - POB EP 2021 Dinner in SG: Amazing aroma of violet, red fruits. Palate is amazing with lots going and finish was super long but tannins still pretty prominent yet fine.

April 19, 2022 - Popped and stood for around 2-hrs, before serving. This was immediately attractive, with a bouquet of red-cherries, incense/sandalwood and bits of cocoa. Beautiful on the palate, with a svelte texture of more red-fruits, nicely balanced with ripeness & freshness, all wrapped in a silky mouthfeel that oozed elegance & complexity/depth. This has legs, and will no doubt improve further with cellar age.

November 20, 2021 - Wines Enjoyed at John Kapon's 50th Birthday Bash (The Pool - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. 3L. Perfectly Vosne-spiced with surprising richness for the vintage. Impressive depth.

November 20, 2021 - JK's 50th Birthday: Jeroboam. I keep coming back to this glass, the fruit and lacy RSV qualities are both evident and attractive. Great wine in the making. 95-96

January 17, 2019 - Perfumed and expressive. Good stuffing. Not a blockbuster rsv but quite classic. The sweetness showed well.
