February 22, 2024 - Pronounced nose intensity with ripe red fruits, toast, spice, mushroom, mint. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Tasted blind and doesn’t taste like 2005, peaking now and have a long peak cycle. Nice aged burgundy for close 20 years is enjoyable.

Did a Echezeaux theme and Claire Naudin is the WOTN for me

    The line up are:
2019 Nicole Lamarche, 2019 Claire Naudin
    2017 Gros Frere & Soeur
    2016 Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot
    2014 Jean Marie Fourrier
    2009 Philippe Pacalet
    2008 Anne Gros
    2005 A.F Gros, 2005 Domaine des Perdrix
    1999 A.F Gros

December 28, 2021 - Many years to go. Just getting started. Very little bricking. Deep core. Nose of black cherries, freshness, lots of spice, roses, dark floral. Weighty with fine grained but noticeable tannins and some vanilla oak but it is becoming well integrated. Round and velvety. Long spicy dark fresh cherry finish. Give this at least another decade

    January 31, 2021 - Magnificent bottle
Nose with roses, red berries, some blue fruit, Cherries, Christmas spices, minerals, sous - bois and wet forest floor with some truffle.
Palate is super textured, velvety with cherries and raspberries, spicy and semi mature with very good body and length.
Very sexy and very well made Echézéaux!
    Best A.-F. I have had.
Will keep, still only middle aged.
    (95 - 96+)

January 31, 2021 - på en helt perfekt plats just nu och med lite luft är detta vin helt fantastiskt. snygga mognadstoner.

May 26, 2018 - Excellent floral nose totally predicts a super liquificaton of berries and cherries.
Little herb and spice with tannins still evident.
Can pop and pour from decanter but comes improves after an hour with development of herb notes.

(Domaine A.-F. Gros Echezeaux) Medium cherry red color with pale meniscus; ripe cherry and cinnamon nose; ripe, rounder cherry palate with stuffing, but tight and too young yet, good balance; medium finish
