January 15, 2023 - I was so excited to try this wine on a visit to the US as Silver Oak always held an excellent reputation with me from my early wine days. Pale Ruby colour. Primary nose of blackberry, vanilla and cherries. Broad round wine that fills the mouth with fruit and leather. Long finish of dark fruits and tobacco.

December 4, 2022 - Oak, dark fruits with prominent black cherry and black currant notes and quite tannic at the moment with a medium+ finish. Improved after 2 hours in the decanter but would recommend waiitng a few years until opening.
