June 30, 2023 - In a great spot. Lost some of the jubey raspberry with black fruit, spice and menthol. Tannin is dry and dusty but well balanced making this a fresh, complex wine that is still smashable!

July 31, 2020 - Friday at the strand (Strand Cellars, Croydon): Jubey and sweet red berries; a little raspberry and plum, very pretty fruit notes with a tiny herbaceous underpin here as well that lends interest to the nose. In the mouth it's got juicy acidity and is very fruit forwrad; there is breadth and texture here without overt tannic grip, the alcohol warmth is non-intrusive. This falls very much in the eminently smashable space.
