April 22, 2023 - Champagnes and dinner with Alan and friends: This was apparently quite perfumed on opening but unfortunately with air it turned into a Bojo sort of wine. Candied, jammy raspberry fruit that had a carbonic quality to it. Strange showing.

April 11, 2019 - Aurélien Verdet Cuverie Visit and Tasting (Arcenant - Burgundy): Tasting at the domaine, all bottled in the past few months. Floral with red berries throughout and spice hints on nose, then more pronounced on palate. Very pretty throughout, with some good richness coming through middle forward. Good+ weight and length. Easily my favorite of the lineup.

January 7, 2019 - Tasted after the basic Vosne-Romanée. A bit darker and more brooding on the nose, spicy, earthy, lovely depth and purity. On the palate vibrant and spicy with well integrated acidity, powerful tannins. Nicely concentrated and very harmonious and elegant already. Very long and and fine. 92-93+
