December 8, 2017 - Mute bouquet of faded dried red cherries, dirt, leather, hint of tobacco and spice. Similar on the palate, medium-full body, nice tannic grip. Food friendly. Improved slightly with air.

January 1, 2016 - New Year's Day party at the Ballington's house on 1/1/2016.
Color: Garnet red.
Nose/Smell: Dark chocolate and raisins.
Palate/Taste: A little dry in the finish. Moderate tannins (5/10) with moderate body. Moderate finish that is starting to thin out.
Opinion: Dryer and not as acidic as expected. -
