January 7, 2024 - From a 375ml. Poured the entire bottle out, then repoured into the bottle and left to sit for a few hours. Even with the advance preparation - and the smaller format - it seems like it needed more air (or more likely, many more years). Big, bold white peach and citrus dueling with massive oak character, with a wash of flint and reduction over everything. Impressive but disjointed at present, which is a shame since the only reason I opened this now was to try to get ahead of any potential premox. Would love to try a (pristine) bottle with 10+ years on it.

August 18, 2023 - Rich and forward with caramel, salty minerals, and ripe yellow fruit. Good mid palate attack with intensity and minerality. Very good now but now sure if it is for the long haul.
