October 21, 2022 - Medium to full body, with strong oak, meat and dark fruits. Reminds me of a 20 yr old Vogue Bonnes Mares. Drinking well now and in nice harmony, will certainly improve with time.

August 9, 2021 - Anniversary 2021: Decant. Immediately expressive nose with deep purple fruit and spice garden. Lots of primary enjoyment on the palate but the baby fat needs time to shed to really show the class. Perfect Grand Cru weight and body. Lots of spices and hoisin and umami flavors. The primary fruit and spice combination gives it a touch of banana/coconut/tropical flavors on the finish.

June 10, 2021 - Bottle breathe for 2 hours, and double decant before serving. Still a baby, this bottle offers nice spice, loads of red fruit and power on the nose, and equally on the palate. Tannins still a bit dominates but it shows integration starts to work with medium body, smooth finishing on the long side. Drinkable now but good potential for another 5-10 years

April 30, 2020 - Excellent weight right out of the bottle. Dark ruby core with lighter rim. Pop and pour and this one took time to open up. 30 minutes in the glass before it started to show much of a nose. Spice and fruit, underripe blackberry, a bit of a hedonistic palate right now, but enjoyable. Somewhat dark and brooding, but in a forward, approachable way. Opened up more throughout the evening and started to show more fruit on the palate and a delightful, smooth finish. It has some baby fat to trim but it's setting up to be an amazing selection. Can't believe the value and can't wait to revisit in another few years.
