April 26, 2024 - Deep ruby, pronounced black plumb, blackcurrant, cedar
High acidity, high ripe tannins, high alcohol, full.bodied , pronounced intensity, long finish

Dark plum, black cherry , black berry on the nose with some sweet vanilla note from oak
Dry, High scidity, high alcohol, full but soft tannins makes these a wonderfulll full bodied wine, some hints of cooked fruit
Drink now
Compared to Kleine Zalze Single vineyard of same year, and marginally prferred this due it riper fruit charcateristics -

December 16, 2022 - Got the tannins, oak and acidity to hold for many more years and I think it needs a couple more to peak. Got better after 1 hr decant and was great day 2. Clean and dry, no jammy notes.
