July 27, 2023 - Drank it together with wine maker Etienne. This plot is just adjacent to La Tache and 2005 being a superb vintage, the wine still taste youthful. This wine have long ageing potential. Drink now or age.

May 26, 2023 - Double decanted a few hours earlier. Ruby throughout. Fragrant dark fruit and subtle spice. Beautiful medium weight and texture that made the 2005 Beaune next to it feel a bit coarse. Refined fruit, crisp acidity, a dusting of soil, and moderate tannins remain without any dryness. Not yet fully ready, but much more open than the 2005 Chateau Chorey wine. It has come a long way since the only other time I tasted it back in 2016. Beautiful Vosne-Romanée that should be sublime in another decade or so.
