June 30, 2020 - Rich and lively ruby red with strong marathon worthy legs. Lovely nose first thought was I am walking into one of those mushroom houses where they are grown. Right under neath that a basket of red ripe cherry and strawberry. Some nice spice and sassafras. On the palate it packs some heat but that quickly gives way to nice fruit and a soft pleasant roll through your mouth. Nice Santa Rita Hilo’s Pinot. Fess can always be counted one to produce real nice Pinot. Paired with some chips sour cherry jam and an awesome cavemen blue cheese from Murray’s cheese shop. The pairing elevated both the cheese and the wine. Also look up Murray’s best cheese on the East coast
